Breathe
On the day of his brother's funeral, a grieving young man named Malachi, sneaks a peek at his Detective uncle's phone and gets a lead on who might have killed his brother. Malachi must decide if he'll choose to run from his pain and exact revenge or listen to the supernatural guidance that surrounds him.
Director’s Statement
I wrote this after we lost my brother in law to gun violence a few years ago. As I listened to my husband tell stories of his relationship with his brother and the music they made together, my heart was moved to write and produce a film around grieving and the healing a family goes through after experiencing something like this. My husband and I both feel that this process has helped turn a sad experience into something more positive. The process of creating this project has been healing to the both of us. We hope that this project will facilitate positivity for the causes my brother in law cared about.
